I want to thank Tina for sending me Miley Cyrus’s audition tape for Hannah Montana. I’ve seen some photos but not the whole video before!

When Miley auditioned for the role she was 12, so young!!

After the Albany concert, Miley said bye bye to the Jonas Brothers and hello to Aly & Aj - Hannah Montana performed in Detroit at the Joe Louis Arena together with the two girls last night!

I’ve added pictures of all three; Miley and Aly & Aj to the gallery - hope you like them although they’re not in the best of the qualities.

On the white T-shirt Hannah Montana wore towards the end it says “Sign my Shirt” - I’m not quite sure what the story behind that is. Anyone know? Please e-mail me if you do!

The official Hannah Montana Rockstar video which was filmed during The Best Of Both Worlds tour was aired yesteday on the Disney channel!

This is one of my favorite songs from Hannah, the other one being “If We Were A Movie” - This video is pretty cool and if you’re going to watch the Hannah Montana 3D movie, you will see it in there as well!

I’ve just added an old RockStar video from Laura made from a slideshow of pictures! The time couldn’t be better as the actual RockStar video which was filmed with Hannah Montana on tour is about to premiered on the Disney Channelt tonight at 7:55!

After Hannah Montana’s successful concert in Washington, her arrival to Albany was less successful. The Crowne Plaza 5* Hotel, the place she was supposed to stay at the night before her concert, had cancelled all Hannah Montana’s crew and herself’s reservations. The reason is yet unknown; although the fact that the governor’s State of the State address was delivered yesterday and the hotel was still crawling with politicians may have been the main factor.

What makes it even more strange is that Jack Albeck who’s the production manager of the tour and was in charge with reservations also stayed at this hotel during his High School Musical tour a year ago. So cancelling the reservations with no explanation is plain rude and I know if I was in his place I would never use their services ever again.

In the end, after half an hour of telephone calls he managed to find 30 free rooms and a place to park the 5 buses at the Desmond Hotel and the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds concert went fine - check the gallery!

Miley Cyrus‘ two dogs, Roadie and Loco have been named top dogs by the Animal Fair magazine. How amazing is that! Now Miley’s Hannah Montana concert isn’t the only hot thing on the chart nowadays .

Roadie is a Yorkie and Loco is a Shih Tzu (hope I spelt that right). They got voted top pets by the magazines’ readers and the magazine featuring Miley Cyrus’ dogs is actually on the newsstands as we speak!

You can see some photos of Miley and the dogs in the gallery - the photos are actually from a past post of her leaving the hotel but it’s the only recent one I have of her, Yorkie and Loco.

I found this picture above of Miley Cyrus and a dog but I’m not sure it’s one of hers - any ideas ?!

I left this story late to document as I didn’t want to jump straight to conclusions as other websites seem to do, so here is my bit. In this video, you can see that the dancer in the green T-shirt is covering Hannah Montana up and helping her hide under the backstage ‘trapdoor’ at this concert.

Less than a second later after the door closes Hannah supposedly comes out again, but it’s not her really -sorry but this person cannot dance! I’m sure some of you saw photos of this ‘body double’ and she’s easily identifiable as not being Hannah - in fact she is one of her backup dancers(?).

So, why is she doing this? Well everyone jumped to conclusions and accusing Hannah Montana of being a fake as well as lip sync, etc. Afterall, how does she sing after she goes backstage ? I don’t know… well actually I do - she doesn’t.

I also know that I agree with her representative who said:

“To help speed the transition from Hannah to Miley, there is a production element during the performance of “We Got The Party” incorporating a body double for Miley.”

Indeed, he admits that Hannah isn’t the one singing live after the body double comes out;

“…a body double appears approximately one to two minutes prior to the end of the song in order to allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set. Other than during this very brief transitional moment in the show, Miley performs live during the entirety of both the Hannah and Miley segments of the concert.”

Okay, so what’s the big deal? I don’t think Miley’s organizers made the wisest choice in organizing the feature like this and they should have found other ways of dealing with the transition but there it is why it was necessary. Is seeing a body double of Hannah Montana acceptable when you are expecting to see the ‘real thing’ ? Well, that is for you to decide.

In my opinion, the concert is all about having fun and making the audience live and feel connected. If two minutes of a fake Hannah is what it takes to achieve this, then it is reasonable - afterall, Miley does her best to achieve this atmosphere for the rest of the concert and unfortunately these accusations are aimed at her.

Everyone who went to her concert had fun, was pleased and satisfied so their goal to serve the audience is achieved (whatever that may take). But then again… the media needs something controversial and accusative to talk about as otherwise they wouldn’t have what food to lay on the table.
