Here we are finally - Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray hosted the 2008 CMT Awards! I’ve been telling you about this event from the beginning of February and reminded you every monday by the exclusive CMT Insider MileyWorld Videos you watched on our site.

Even though Miley Cyrus had a really bad throat infection which affected her performance earlier on in the week at the Idol Gives Back show, she turned up at the even in a very summery dress accompanied by her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

With almost 1 million views in 2 days, the latest Miley and Mandy Show Video is by far the most popular one. The title for this video is “M&M Cru with a U BATTLES Step Up 2” - they were ‘challenged’ to the biggest online dance battle ever in YouTUbe history, by Adam Sevani and Jon Chu, the director of Step Up 2: The Streets - (Adam/ Chu Dance Crew)!

With the CMT Awards this evening, Miley Cyrus headed up to Nashville yesterday to prepare for presenting the show!

However, as some of you might have noticed from her performance at Idol Gives Back, she is battling a bad throat infection which is greatly affecting her voice.

The Cyrus family waited for about 40 minutes at the airport tarmac for their doctor to show up so Miley could get some medicines to soothe her pain. She’s had rehearsals yesterday, as well as later on today so everyone’s hoping she will be able to lead the show, together with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

It’s now official - the Hannah Montana TV Series has finally been renewed for a third season on the Disney Channel.
Disney said that Hannah Montana is the top show among children of all ages and it looks like it will carry on being this way in the future as Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana’s popularity carries on increasing.

Other shows that can expect a new season are The Wizards of Waverly Place and Phineas and Ferb both which will be back for a second season.

We don’t yet know when the filming for season 3 of Hannah Montana will start but I believe it will be either in unison with the
Hannah Montana movie which also films in Nashville - and apparently over 6,000 young stars showed up at the audition for the extra parts in the Hannah Montana movie on April 6!

Wednesday, April 9 was another typical day in the life of Miley Cyrus, the Hannah Montana star who made her way, accompanied by Leticia into the Los Angeles studio.

Also related, Miley Cyrus told the reporters and paparazzi waiting for her that she recently conducted a visit to the Clay County part of Kentucky where she filmed a documentary about the poverty in the region.
The Hannah Montana star told the press: “My parents are from Kentucky, so I’ve seen that my whole life, but I never got to go there and actually show the world what’s there,” “Some people are just like, ‘It’s America and that doesn’t exist.’ But it does exist here. And that’s something that gets overlooked.”

Miley Cyrus will be lending her voice to the new Disney animated film “Bolt“. Miley will be ‘filming’ this movie which is due to be released on November 26 2008, alongside her Hannah Montana movie!

John Travolta will also be one of the voices you will be hearing in Bolt when it hits the cinemas!

In related news, Miley will also be appearing on May 14 at the New Kids On The Block Rebirth concert, joining the ‘new’ kids on the block at the Z100 Zootopia concert . Alongside Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Simple Plan and many others bands will also be playing; according to the Billboard.

A large part of the profits from this concert will go to the DoSomething charity, which encourages young people to pitch in their local communities.

Arriving in a Porsche cayenne on a sunny and beautiful day in Los Angeles, CA, Miley Cyrus went straight into the Disney Studios after grabbing a take-away coffee with her mum!
