What are your reasons for loving Miley Cyrus? Or do you like her Hannah Montana character more? Well, here are some I came up with:

1. Role model - she is nowhere near a spoilt brat; she has to do chores, go to church every Sunday and even gets grounded when she misbehaves;
2. Excellent voice;
3. Cool Name - on her birth certificate it’s “Destiny Hope Cyrus”; her nickname Miley derives from the fact that she used to smile a lot so people called her “Smiley”. Later on, this gave rise to the nickname Miley!
4. She involved her family in the show “Hannah Montana”. Miley and her father confessed that sometimes it’s very hard to act with each other! But she’s doing a great job so people love her;
5. She has a montly allowance of $300, set by her parents (this is just a rumour though, not verified. I personally find hard to believe
6. The Hannah Montana tour sold more tickets than Justin Timberlake!
7. No plastic surgery! - keep it that way girl!
8. Not a show off to the world!
9. Famous relatives, her father Billy Ray Cyrus for example!
10. She mentioned in an interview that her Hannah Montana wig weights over 20 pounds when soaked in sweat but never once complained about it!

• The show set is in Malibu, California
• In the first show “Lilly, do you want to know a secret”, the reporter calls her a “14 year old sensation” whereas Hannah is only 13.
• The first Hannah Montana taping was on December 16th 2005 and the first season was initially set to have 22 episodes.

• The episodes’ title are inspired from famous, usually pop songs.

• In the “Achey Jakey Heart” episodem where Robbie Ray injures his back in the limbo, the quote”Ow, my achey, breaky back” is reference to the popular “Achey, Breaky, Heart” 1990s song sun by Billy Ray Cyrus

• Miley’s house is the same house where “Diagnosis Murder” (1993) was filmed

• Hannah Montana’s soundtrack was the first television soundtrack in history to reach the Number 1 in Charts. it also sold 281,000 copies in the first week alone.

• During the spare time on the set, Emily Osment was taught by Miley how to play guitar. In return, Emily taught Miley Cyrus to knit.

• Miley Cyrus first auditioned for the Lily Truscott’s role in the TV series, but Disney thought she would fit better for the main role or Hannah Montana. She then re-auditioned and got the role!

• Hannah Montana’s school alias was originally meant to be Zoe Steward, but then got changed to Miley Steward after Miley Stewart got the role.

• Miley Cyrus competed with over 1,000 others for her Hannah Montana role

• The actual age of Miley Stewart in the Hannah Montana show is one year younger than real Miley!

• When the Hannah Montana soundtrack was released, it sold over 1.6 million copies in the first two months
