Hannah Montana

Miley Cyrus is best known from the Hannah Montana TV series and debuted on March 24, 2006 on the Disney Channel. The children’s television series has since been nominated for the American Emmy Award. Hannah Montana is about Miley Steward (Miley Cyrus) who turns from an average teenage girl during the day to a famous pop singer at night - Hannah Montana. She then of course continuously tries to conceal her identity to everyone but family and close friends.

On November 23, 1992 Miley Cyrus later known as Hannah Montana was born in Franklin, Tennessee. She first attended the Heritage Middle School but now has her own private tutor! Miley grew up on a farm with her family in Nashville. The famous coutry singer Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia Cyrus are her parents. She has two older half-brothers as well as an elder half-sister, a younger sister Noah who is now an actress and a younger brother Braison. The nickname ‘Miley’ was acquired during childhood because of her constant smile on her face!

Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) has moved to Toronto, Canada with her family at the age of 9. Here, she secured a contract to play a girl named Kylie in her father’s television series Doc. That was her first debut, after which a Disney audition followed at the age of 11. Miley Cyrus was then chosen to play in Hannah Montana at the age of 12 due to her energetic and lively performance and was seen as a person who truly “loves every minute of life”.

As a consequence, Miley Cyrus currently stars in Hannah Montana as the lead character.

On June 22, 2006 she did her first performance as Hannah Montana at the Disney Typhoon Lagoon at the Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Miley Cyrus’ first audio CD was released on October 24, 2006, released by Walt Disney Records and included eight soundtracks used in the increasingly popular television series Hannah Montana. The soundtracks made it onto the Billboards chart and hit #1 and stayed there for two weeks in a row! During this period, she made several appearances on popular TV shows such as “Total Request Live” and “Good Morning America”.

Miley is personal friends with other Hannah Montana co-stars Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment often texting and chatting with each other.
