The Truth Behind Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus/"Hannah Montana" is a streotype with bad examples. No I;m not going to say 'she sucks', I have reasons.
1. In her songs and shows, all the emos/punks/goths (me), skaters, tomboys, jocks, bookworms (me), etc look bad and she makes it look like you have to be like her to be cool.
2. Profanity.
3. She says 'express yourself'. When does she do that? It's hypocritical. If she thinks people should express themselves, then why'd she make up 'Hannah Montana' in her show? Why couldn't she just 'express herself'?
4. In one episode (my sister watches it), a guy who disliked her looked bad in the show. So if you express an opinion, you look bad.
5. Her songs (or most of them) don't help socially. In 'The Best of Both Worlds', she says that clothes and shoes and pop stars are fabulous and that she's great- how does that help? In 'Just Like You', she makes it sound like you have to be like her, and that she's sure of everything. There are more with other songs, but that'll take too long to list.
6. She makes learning and school look bad.
7. She inspires bad grammar.

Would you like more reasons? Note that this isn't a fan forum- this is just a Hannah Montana forum.

Um... I'm going to stay pretty open-minded here, but can I question number 2? I mean... she's never said anything worse than 'crap'. Number 5.... well... most of the time, songs don't really help socially :l Many of them out there do, but there's also the majority that don't. As for number 3... it's a show, relax. I mean, if you're going to cap on Hannah Montana, you might as well hate all Disney channel shows. Honestly, if you look at the shows they air, they're just meant to entertain. Miley says "express yourself" and well, she does, through her music, her actions, but not her show. You can't express yourself when you're in a show, because your being told what to do by directors, cameramen, etc. For number 4, over-exaggerating is entertaining. Think about it. For number 7, it's an accent, I mean, I don't want to be generalizing different people, but everyone talks differently, so what if someone talks a kind of "broken English". For number 6, an extreme amount of kids/people find school boring. There are some minorities that don't, but the general public does. The show supports that for viewers. As for number 1, the show is centered around her. But this situation is applicable to any Disney show. Take a look at "Corey In the House" for example, the President's secretary is somewhat of an antagonist to Corey because she is nagging and annoying. Does that stereotype all secretaries to be nagging and annoying? No, in truth, it's used as an impediment for the protagonist(s) of the show, which increases entertainment value.

I don't mean to hate, but in the end, all I'm doing is: "Expressing myself".

Honestly..wow either you have wayyyy too much time on your hands or you really musta thought for hours on how to find things wrong with miley!! I have a question for you..can you honestly name anyone on t.v who is a better role model for kids than miley?? because I've seen her show, I've heard her songs and never once did I find anything that seems anything close to bad or flonting or whatever else you may call it to put it down. Well, I feel bad that you are the most unliked person in your class. That's awful, but maybe if you weren't ignorant to people just because they didn't spell something that doesn't match your standards, you may be liked more! Also I'm aware that so is in the dictionary, but soooo is not so before you blow your mouth on someone get it right! People say soooo all the time but its not correct and no one cares, and that goes for the other girl too. I've heard ain't plenty of times and it works the same way that your "soooo" does so before you pop a hemroid...cause I see your mad!... maybe you should get your fax straight! See you may not have heard of ain't before but there are plenty who have. Good luck!
