Biography:

Emily Osment was born in Los Angeles, California to actor Eugene Osment and Theresa Osment who is currently a teacher. Osment has always been into acting, coming from a family full of actors. Her father, Eugene Osment is a famous actor in various films, whereas her older brother, Haley Joel Osment is an Academy Award nominated actor.

Her television career in began in 1998, casting in a mega flower delivery company commercial (FTD). She then featured in many other commercials and in 1999 starred in the film The Secret Life of Girls. Since then she took part in various other films.
Emily Osment also starred in Spy kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams where she achieved a “Young Artist Award” for her performance. Following this, she was also invited to star in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over as Gerti Giggles.The biggest impact on her television career had the Disney channel show “Hannah Montana”, playing the role of Lilly Truscott!!Her and Miley Cyrus are currently working on “Hannah Montana - The Movie” due to be released in 2008!
